Nestled among the desert mountains of Tucson, Arizona, Haven of Tucson offers everything from short-term restorative care to comprehensive skilled nursing in a caring environment. Dedicated to promoting autonomy and independence, this goal for this multi-level facility was to update it in a way that better reflects the quality of care its residents receive.
Haven is proud to be built on a foundation of trust, empowerment, and respect. To further these ideals, we removed a number of interior walls and doors. This created more space for the residents to rehabilitate, socialize, and exercise their independence. We even added a small marketplace to further promote self-sufficiency and healthy living. Additionally, we enhanced the outdoor walkways, gardens, and courtyard to allow residents even more mobility and freedom. Wanting to bring the feel of the outdoors inside, we added more light fixtures with brighter lights, updated the flooring and paint, as well as all the furnishings. We also updated each resident room with fresh new lighting, furniture, flooring, and beds. Resident bathrooms were redone to be more accessible and better suited for autonomous living. Today, Haven of Tucson is a shining example of quality nursing care both inside and out.
